Kilimanjaro for Myasthenia
Graham Read writes:
In February I am climbing Kilimanjaro for charity. I am doing it for
myasthenia which is a very rare condition that my daughter suffers from.
Startline adds: Myasthenia is the medical term for muscle weakness which in its extreme form is myasthenia gravis, a rare long-term condition that causes certain muscles to become weak. It mainly affects muscles that are controlled voluntarily – often those controlling eye and eyelid movement, facial expression, chewing, swallowing and talking. (Info from www.nhs.uk)
